This Blog is About…

Recovery in serious mental illness/distress; a globally recognized phenomenon for over two decades, in many parts of the world. What started from the experiences of those who questioned and critiqued psychiatry was soon adopted by psychiatry and allied professions as a goal of mental ‘health’ services.

The idea behind this blog is to share the phenomenon of recovery from any mental illness as a possibility and as an endeavour worth making.

The ideas shared here are  drawn from diverse sources, including personal experiences and the ongoing research of the blog author.

You may read an occasional book review or interview as well. Whatever be the theme they will all be with one agenda-
Recovery from Mental Illness.

Wish you empowering reading and exploration of this effort
